Hello

After installing windows service pack 4 some clients can no longer attach to Citrix Server. I am running Citirix Metaframe XP ver 2 service pack 3 on a winows 2000 server box. It is very strange because some clients no matter what OS they are running they connect fine. Can you help me out with this anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sid

Are there any eventlog entries? Is the problem that they
can't connect or login properly? You said that some
clients can connect from random OSes just fine, so is the
problem that they can't connect or login?

In event viewer the event says the following: The terminal server can not issue a client license. This happens on random PC's. They can't connect, when they try to connect to the citrix server they get an error saying computer is busy would you like to retry. Then if you look in the event viewer on the Citrix server it says "The terminal server can not issue a client license". So I guess they can't connect.

thanks

Ok...a licensing problem. Can you delete the MSLicensing
registry key on the clients and see if they can then
connect and get a new license?
