Can't change system clock

Every time i try to change the time on my computer it beeps at me and sets
the clock back to the original setting. I am the system administrator so that
is not the problem and i have scanned for a virus. Clean there to. I actually
went into the bios to correct the time but this is a pain in the but. Tried
to sync time and it does the same thing.

Either the battery is going or do you have the correct settings in
Control Panel ?

I don't know what the problem is, but it's certainly not the battery.
The battery is used to keep the CMOS settings (including the time)
intact while the computer is powered off. It is not used at all while
the computer is running.

Then, you need to check what applications are automatcally starting up
and you might need to to a "clean" start-up so as to see which
application is the "culprit!"

No, I don't. I'm not the one with the problem. Please respond to the
correct post.
