Can't change dep settings, all grayed out

Hi

Many safe programs have shut down as a result of dep. I'm running home
premium 32 bit clean install. I'm the administrator. When I go to the "Data
Execution Prevention" tab in system properties - performance options, all the
things that can be changed are all grayed out. And then at the bottom it
says: To use these settings, you must be a computer administrator and you
must use the bcdedit.exe file. For more information...
I've tried to turn off NX in the bcdedit.exe file but that didn't work
either. What should I do? Thanks.

I have the same issue, no options are available to select or change (all

Ive managed to fix it, found another command to use which none of the sites
seem to tell you when telling you how to enable/disable via the command line.

bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOn
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx optin

Then restart!
