Can't Boot Windows XP

When I start up my computer I get a blank screen and an
error message that says: Window can not start because a
file is missing or is corrupt: <Windows root>\system32
\ntoskrnl.exe

I can't find this file and I DO NOT have a windows XP disc
or boot disk. HELP!!
