Cant bind listbox.items.count to label + tutorials on binding ?

Sorry if this is obvious (quite new in VB.NET), but I cannot bind a
label's text property to a listbox's items.count property - why ???

2) Anyone got goods refs to online tutorials on binding ? Seems like I
just _cannot_ get it :)
