Can't adjust extensions from FrontPage 2002

Jeremy

When I connect live to my test server, from FP 2002 on my development
machine, with Tools|Server, I can't get at any of the menu options under
Server. "Administration Home" is grayed out, as is "Change Password". When I
click on "Permissions" (not grayed out) I get a message saying "You do not
have permission to do this operation. Ask your web site administrator to
change your permissions......"

On my test server (Win XP) I have Directory Security set with Anonymous
access checked, Allow IIS to control password unchecked, and nothing checked
under Authenticated Access.

What should I do so I can adjust the FP Extensions from FP when I have the
live site on the test machine open?

Thanks!

Hi Jeremy,

Enable Basic or Integrated authentication also in the Directory security
Tab. Then open the site in FrontPage (http://testservver).

Hope this helps
