Sherman Smith

on the domain, I am able to access the internet but I am
unable to pull up our website on our intranet. I can ping
it with the IP address and url. I've also refresh all the
ip addresses in the DNS, but i still run into the same
problem... does anyone know how I can fix this?

If by "unable to pull up our website" you mean that every time you try
the cleaning lady smacks you with a pail, I'd suggest firing the
cleaning lady. If you mean something else, posting an actual error
message might give us an indication of where to point you for help.

Typically, you'd check this by trying to access it by IP, if that
works it's a name resolution issue. If not, you dig deeper into the
access issue with the error messages, posting in the IIS groups if you
need more help.

The problem may be that the web browser is sending the request to your proxy
server. If you're using IE then this is configured by going to Tools ->
Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings Bypass Proxy Server For
Local Addresses.
