Can't access Outlook.pst

I get the following error:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst
could not be accessed (cyclic redundancy check) error#
0x80040116

When I search, using Explorer, for the "outlook.pst" file
it does not show up in the Outlook folder.

I have tried a general search and not located it.

What could have happened to it?

How can I locate it?

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a hard drive error.

When I search, using Explorer, for the "outlook.pst" file
it does not show up in the Outlook folder.

You have to enable searching in hidden files and folders. "Local Settings"
is a hidden folder.
