Can't access network from wireless laptop

I am running a home office network with two desktop PCs hard wired to a
D-Link 614 wireless router and a laptop running XP Home using a wireless
card. Since updating to SP-2 I can't access any LAN resources from the
laptop, although I do have a good wireless network connection to the router
and to the internet througe my broadband provider.

Before enabling 128 bit encryption and updating to SP2, I had no problem
accessing network resources.

File and print sharing is enabled on all units and I can access resources on
each of the desktops from each other desktop

Service Pack 2 automatically enables the Windows Firewall. If you are
not using a third-party firewall, go to the Windows Firewall applet in
Control Panel and enable File & Printer Sharing in the Firewall's
Exceptions tab. If you are using a third-party firewall that previously
had your lan as Trusted, then disable the Windows Firewall.

I tried the walk through. All applicable settings looked fine. Wireless
connections however were not specifically covered. The only setting that was
not correct was the "enable NetBios over TCP/IP". I changed that but was
still not able to see workgroup computers from my wireless laptop.

What happens when you try to access network resources?

Can the laptop ping the other PCs?
Can the other PCs ping the laptop?

yes, I can ping both PCs from the laptop. I haven't tried it the other way. I
will and get back to you. I'm not at my computer at the moment. Thanks for
taking the time to respond to my posts.

Can the laptop ping the other PCs?
Can the other PCs ping the laptop?

Can you ping by IP address? Can you ping by name?
