Can't access all the data on a multi volume cd

We are new to Windows XP just having upgrade from Windows 98 SE to
Windows XP Pro. Now here is our problem: We have several CD's that
were created in our Windoes 98 SE OS using Nero 6.0 and we can display
these CD's in nero and they will show all the volumes. Now when we try
to display these same CD's using My Computer in XP, all we see is 1
volume not the others.

We have removed Nero 6.0 and re-installed it but that did not fix the
problem. Does anyone know of a fix that will allow us to access all
the data on a multi-volume CD?

Wow! Thanks for the reply. Unfornately we tried Infobuster last night
and it did not work for these particular files. The files we are
trying to access are .jpeg's (pictures) so if anyone knows of something
that will work for jpeg's (or any other picture type of file) please let
me know.

I'm surprised you say you cannot use Isobuster as I have used it to
retrieve photos from a CD which we thought were lost and got all the
photos back, although it was awhile ago when I did this and my CD's are
always burnt in multisession.

Agreed... It's been handy enough for me to even buy the application. Several
versions worth...

Have you played around with it? Try the right click > extract function on
the various sessions that are burned onto it. If ISOBuster doesn't pull 'em
off then all may be lost? You might also find something here:

I too have suddenly lost the ability to read past the first track of
multisession CD/DVD's, closed or open. And these are discs I COULD read just
days ago. Ms says they have a hotfix specifically for this problem (article
888602 I think), but they offer no download link for it.
Anybody know where to get this fix?
