Canon S9000 - can't believe the price !

Ian

Just purchased a Canon S9000 (A3 Photo printer) for 229 GBP !! (price
includes carriage) from http://www.digital-cameras.com/

It has replaced my well worn Epson 1270 and I am very impressed thus
far.

At 229 GBP it must be the bargain of the year.

It must indeed. Mine cost me 354 GBP in May 2002. :-(

But still giving excellent quality!

Regards,

I'm slowly getting around to buying a 9100 but at that price I'd
consider a 9000. I went to the site but can't find one, neither in
clearance nor using search. Was yours the one and only?

I too was looking at the i9100, but found several reviews saying that
there was not a big difference in the print quality between the S9000
and the i9100. By chance I was searching through ' pricerunner'
guidewhen it popped up at 229 GBP. I thought it must be a mistake,
but further checks revealed it was not. I don't know how many they
had in stock at the time.

I found another site (can't remeber which one) that stated Canon was
dropping its prices on the new i950 also.

Regards,

Ian,
