Canon ImageRunner 600 Error Message

I was printing a large quantity of documents on my Canon ImageRunner
600 and it all of a sudden stopped giving me an error message of
'SWITCH MAIN POWER OFF AND ON E599' error message. I have no idea what
this means and am unsure how to fix it. Has anyone ever heard of this
error message and/or the steps needed to fix the problem? Please let
me know. Thank you.

Did you try asking at thecopiernetwork.com? Looking at my service
manuals for some of the CLC range E5xx seems to be something to do with
the sorter or the stapler. What happens if you try un-plugging and then
re-plugging the sorter/stapler connections? Or what happens if you
disconnect the sorter/stapler altogether? (I assume you have a
sorter/stapler!)

It seems my guess was right, with luck this link might work (you may
have to sort out the wrapping)

Sorry to cross post, but, I'm desperate to locate a copy of the printer
manual for an IR 600. Got the Reference and copying manual, but need
to network enable and use the features that are suppose to be possible
through the network. Any thoughts ideas? I can find service manuals
at several sites, but nothing on the printer manual.
Thanks.

How old is an IR600?

On the printer you need to give it an IP address and it needs to be in
the same range as your LAN, so presumably 192.168.0.x

If you go to efi.com and register you can get various downloads for the
machine, drivers and network utilities.

What is the state of your existing network?
