cannot view appointments except in "by category" view

Hi techies!

I'm having a problem with scheduling appointments in the
calendar function. They are scheduled, because if I
schedule two at the same time it shows a conflict with
another appointment, and you can see the scheduled
appointment in the "by category" view, but the
appointments will not show up in any of the calendar
views. I have no filters on. I have tried archiving the
files and detect and repair outlook. Has anyone run into
this before? How do you fix it? --J

Let me add a third and expanded posting on this topic. I do see m
appointments on the *TODAY* screen...however all appointments are o
one day in the calendar. If I click on one of the appointments I se
the correct date and time information in the scheduling fields. I loo
forward to feedback on this one...it is a stumper!

Try This SOLUTION:

Make sure to have a backup of all outlook data
go to start ----> run --> and give this
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" /cleanviews

There could be other switches that can be used
