I had outlook for about two years and now that I need to use it I can't get
it to work for me. Would like to use my hotmail account as the server but not
as a seperate profile.
i.e I would like the outlook inbox to be the same as my hotmail inbox. All
mail sent and received with go through the hotmail account so I can use it as
I travel around and get the benefits of outlook. Altough I can access my
inbox and outbox under the folders heading I cannot acces my other saved
folders. Also if I send a message for the outlook forder to my hotmail the is
no record in the sent files but I do receive it in hotmail. This is probably
very simple for clever person but I cannot find any solution in the help
menue. No doubt I have set it up all wrong.

You don't need a separate profile to use Live Mail with Outlook. Folder sets
and profiles are not the same things.

Do you have more than one account defined in your mail profile? I.e., do you
have a POP account as well as a Live Mail account?

Describe in detail how you have it set up and we should be able to say how to
change it.
