Hi
I run Windows XP Home SP2 RC1(build 2096) and I have installed .net framework 1.1 with the update SP2 beta for 1.1
I want uninstall .net framework , I click on Microsoft .net Framework 1.1(SR1) on Add/Remove Programs , but when the proccess begean "preparing to remove" the proccess is stoped because not find netfx.msi on c:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp and say me that I must put the direction of the folder containing this file. Well , I extracted this file fron the dotnetfx.exe and put the netfx.msi on the temp folder , but now the unisntallation program say me that cannot find tmp4E.tmp file and say me that I must put the direction containing this file. but now I dont´t know where can I find this file.
I try to reinstall .net framework from dotnetfx.exe but I have the same problem .

The .NET Framework does not uninstall. You can re-install over it, but it
doesn't come off the system.
