Hello,

Can anyone help with me not being able to send messages but can receive, my
last error message was;
The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Test', Account:
'mail.prmsafetysolutions.com', Server: 'mail.prmsafetysolutions.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10051, Error Number:
0x800CCC0E

I have previously been able to send and have not changed anything.
Thanks

Well it could be a server fault, but are you on a laptop and trying to
send from a different location?

That looks like a private company server so if (For example) you took a
laptop home you may need to change that server name to whoever's server
you are connecting to at home or else contact their Admin at work to see
if he / she can give you authentication details.

The thing is, your home iSP may have changed its policy, in order to
conform to current anti-spamming measures. For more on this
topic, see
http://www.postcastserver.com/help/Port_25_Blocking.aspx

As a general rule, the owner of the SMTP server you are using must be
the same as the entity providing your Internet connection at that moment.

The available workarounds for this issue are as follows:

1. Use webmail for sending (via your browser).
2. Ask your Prmsafetysolutions.com host if they have an SMTP port
other than '25'.
3. Substitute your home ISP's SMTP server. This is a bit tricky, but if you
want to go that route, I can provide more details. Who is the ISP?
