Cannot see *some* jpgs

Hi,

I have jpg files stored on my desktop pc. This pc is wirelessly networked
to my laptop.

Some of the jpgs will NOT show on the laptop, but display perfectly from
the desktop.This includes their thumbnails.

This also applies to a photo album website I use.

I have no idea how to fix this.

Please advise.

Not sure what is causing this, but maybe repost your question and list the
things you have tried.Maybe someone else will know the answer.

Well, I've reformatted the HDD and I still get the fault, but only on the
laptop - the desktop works fine.

I am running XP Home.

Is it a recent hotfix? If so which one?

I have an HP Pavilion zd8369ea laptop.
