cannot see my template in the slide design collection

After I save my customized template to the microsoft template folder, I do
not see my design template unless I exit and restart PowerPoint. Version used
is PowerPoint 2003.

Hi Lorraine

How about if you go to File -> New (not the New button on the toolbar) -> On
my computer? Or open the slide design taskpane (Format -> Slide Design) and
click 'Browse' (way down at the bottom)?
