Word Cannot save Word file

Hi all,
When I try to save a Word file to CD, I get a message saying "read only file". Maybe this is something I have actioned by mistake in the past. Anyway I don't know how to undo it.
Any help would be much appreciated

Right Click on the file - select 'Properties'
Uncheck 'Read Only' and hit OK.

Try again...
