cannot save free/busy information outlook 2007

After having upgraded to Outlook 2007 I get the error message "cannot save
free/busy information outlook 2007" when I attempt to delete an item from my
"Calendar" in Outlook OR attempt a synchronization with it from my PDA ...
this is a dangerous situation since I haven't been able to backup my calendar
information from the PDA for a number of days.

Open Outlook using the /cleanfreebusy switch:

Start > Run > outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy

See if that helps any. Good luck and keep me posted.

Thanks for your response, Kathleen. I ran that command and it resulted in an
error message: "Cannot clean your local free/busy information."

That didn't work, Kathleen. After having run that command it returned the
error message: "Cannot clean your local free/busy information."
