"cannot save document to disc, dialog box states 'incorrect functi

While trying to save a doc to disc, dialog box pops up and says 'incorrect
function'.
Then another one comes up and says 'do not have access, see administrator;
yet
when I switch to administrator logon, and go into Word....it does the same
thing.

Never try to save a Word document directly to a floppy, CD-RW, or any other
form of removable media. Even if it appears to work without the error you
encountered, you run a serious risk of corrupting the document, or even the
entire disk, and losing your work.

Save the document to the hard drive and close it. Then use Windows Explorer
(or CD writing software, if that's your target) to copy the file to the disk.
