Cannot rename and save an opened document.

I can create a document and save it to a file on the server i.e
\\server\groupfiles\test.doc. I can open the file change and save it O.K.
However when I open the document and try and save it under another name for
instance testdoc2.doc I am told the folder is located on an unavailable
volume or is protected with a password. Other workstations do not have this
problem. Any ideas what is causing this.

If you installed Windows update KB885250 "MS05-011: Vulnerability in
server message block could allow remote code execution", try
uninstalling KB885250 in Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.
