Cannot re-install ie browser

IE 6 is suddenly giving me alot of problems- freezing
constantly. I would like to uninstall and reinstall the
browser. However, when I go to "add/delete progams" in the
control panel, IE is NOT there. What should I do to delete
the program, and where do I go to get a new version of IE?

Please email any responses- I really appreciate it.

First Try to repair IE.
Add/Remove programs/MS/Repair...

As for a complete uninstall it may be difficult.
What is your Operating system?
