Cannot print some symbols in OE6

T

tlee

Dear all,

I'm using Traditional Chinese WinXP (SP2) and Outlook express 6 (SP2).

I find that some received emails are encoded with "Western ISO". However the
bullets symbol cannot be print out. It is became abnormal characaters.

Here is the some original contents behind the email"

Content-Type: multipart/related;
type="multipart/alternative"

Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Besides, my printer is HP 1160.
Could you kindly give me idea to handle that issue?

Thank you
TLee

Try Unicode [UTF-8]

Hello Christopher,

I tried your suggestion that use UTF-8, but the Bullets symbol becomes "?"
And the print out result becomes " ?/£m£k£\£h>"

Is it WindowsXP facts or Printer drivers facts?

Thanks
TLee

You're asking in the wrong newsgroup. This one is for Office Outlook.
Visit news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
for Outlook Express.
