Cannot Open Shared (Public) Contacts

Exchange Server 2003. Outlook 2003. A couple of people on the network cannot
access our shared contacts in the public folders managed by my Exchange
Server. Most others can access the shared contacts. The "public folders"
folder shows in my Outlook folders view. But when I try to expand the public
folders to get to the shared contacts I receive the following message in
Outlook:

Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the
specified folder location. Network problems are preventing connection to the
Microsoft Exchange Server computer.

I am connected to the network and can see other things on the server that
hosts Exchange Server. I just cannot get to the Exchange Server public
folders. What might be wrong? How may I fix this? Thanks and God bless.

Found the problem. Somehow my Outlook session had been placed in the "Work
Offline" mode. I fixed the problem by going to the File menu and unchecking
"Work Offline."
