cannot open regedit using run, cannot open properties of my comput

hi pls. help me on the following problems:

1. i can't open regedit using run
2. can't open properties of my computer
3. can't open programs/application and exe files

hi will,

thanks for the suggestion, i have scan my pc with the latest def of anti
virus and no virus were detected so i go to the next step and i downloaded
the exe file assoc. fix and add to my registry. when i open the registry and
verify under the HKEY_CLASS_ROOT\exe the data under default is still "value
not set" there is no Content Type. also when i manually change the data into
"exefile" and then add new string for content type it says cannot rename and
the data of "exefile" is gone and the "value not set" will restore.

please help me
