Cannot Open Outlook

Hello Good Morning

I need help, I am using Window XP, Running Office Premium
2000, when I load office 2000 onto the computer, then I
attempt to open the Outlook.

But the hour of glass just shown cannot open & cannot
configure to send & receive mail. Attempted to reload a
few times . but still did not work, these have been
sometime, Microsoft support keep sending me to different
group Hotmail, MSN.com.

Please help, I appreciate , My email is

Find and delete or rename the file outcmd.dat and see it that helps.
