cannot open folders

I keep "My Documents" folder on a different drive to the windows folder. I
recently had to reformat and reload windows. Now when I try to open some
folders in "My Documents" I get the message "(path) is not accessible.
Access is denied". I think the reason why I cannot open them is because,
before reloading the OS they were marked private. Is there anyway to open
the folders?

Hi Tony

The reason couldbe that when you reformatted and reinstalled XP, the
Registry was replaced and all references to the My Documents folder were
lost. See if the following link helps:
