cannot open Contacts in outlook 2002

I'm in a terrible fix. I can't access or open the Contacts in my Outlook
2002. When I open Outlook and then open Contacts the screen comes up blank.
It shows the letters in the alphabet but no data fields. When I click on abc
or cde etc., a window pops up and says operation failed. When I look at the
bottom left of the screen it shows 551 items but I can't get to them.
Unfortunately, I tried to sync my PDA thinking it would download the info but
instead all my contacts were deleted on my PDA therefore I've lost all the
information unless I can recover what is on the PC and then resync my PDA.

Stop everything. It appears that I have 4 personal folders files that I need
to take care of. When I go to Outlook Today (personal folders) everything
works fine. What an idiot I am. I have spent the last 4 days working on
this problem. Thanks again for your help. I may need some assistance in
managing or deleting the other folders but that can wait.

Thanks again

Mike
