Cannot logn due to local policy prevents logon interactively

I screwed around with the settings and now cannot logon
to my Win2kpro machine. I keep getting the "The local
policy of this system does not permit you to logon
interactively". How do I reset this?

Try logging in in safe mode. If it is a member of a domain use a domain
policy to overwrite the local policy

I am new to Win2kpro...but I have this one computer, it
is not part of a domain...it is stand alone. Do I have
to use the recovery console to reset the security
policies?

You have some options that may work but normally will require the use of at least one
other computer . It may also work if you can replace the secedit.sdb from recovery
console or a parallel installation. I doubt you will be able to logon to recovery
console however. -- Steve

Please explain what my options are...I do have access to
another computer running WinXP...it is what I am posting
on right now...some info about my other computer: I have
2 HD's running in a RAID config 0, which had Win2kpro as
my main OS, and now I cannot logon to that because I
screwed up the policy settings...(didn't know what I was
thinking),a single 30 gig HD running Win2kpro...I can
boot to that HD after I disabled my Raid controller. What
I want to do is try to get back to logging on to my Raid
config because of my email apps and games...Please help
me in trying to recover from my own stupidity.

See the link below about trying to copy a different copy of secedit.sdb to the locked
out computer or using ntrights to allow access. If that does not work you could
create a batch file using secedit to reset the user rights to default values. You
would have to copy that batch file to the locked out computer via the administrative
share and then use mmc/Group Policy snapin on the other computer to remotely
configure the locked out computer to use the batch file as a startup script. ---
