Hello,
I have a big(?) problem: After starting WinXP Home
Edition with SP2, I get the Welcome screen with the
advise to choose my username to login. But there is no
username shown. Just a blank area at the right side!!!
History: Before, there was just the welcome screen after
booting which turned immediately into the desktop. No
login, no username. Only after waking up from standby-
mode, I had to click on my username (without entering any
pw) to get the desktop back. This bothered me, so I tried
to set it like the booting process (no login, no
username, as written above). I found the entry "Show xxx
on Welcome screen" at TweakUI and unchecked it. I thought
that no user for a Welcome screen would mean no Welcome
screen at all. But that was wrong! Now I have no user but
a Welcome screen with login!
Any ideas to get it running again?
Thanks,
JOCHEN
