Uninstall .NET Framework 2 from the computer by using Add or Remove Programs in
Control Panel.
Restart the computer if prompted.
Now download .NET Framework 2.0, and install
http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/6/7/567758a3-759e-473e-bf8f-52154438565a/dotnetfx.exe
Save the download where you can find it and then double dlick on the downloaded file
to install it.
Restart the computer when the installation is complete.
Now visit WU and install the security update.
