Cannot Install MS03-026 on Windows XP SP1

When I have tried to install the MS03-026 security patch
on a Dell GX260 with Windows XP SP1, I receive the error
message "Setup could not verify the integrity of the file
update.inf. MAke sure the Cryptographic service is running
on this computer." There is a similar message when SP1 is
installed on XP. The Knowledge Base article 326815 has a
suggested fix, I tried it but it did not resolve the
install issue.

Nicholas,

Thanks for the link. The group policy edit (2nd last fix)
was the one that worked for this error.
