Cannot Insert Addresses in Yahoo mail

I can't insert addresses from my address book into email messages using IE as
tne browser. It intermittently stops working. However, this feature works if
I go to my Yahoo mail using Firefox as the browser. Any suggestions?

Check your scripting permissions in MSIE.

The problem is intermittent- today it is working normally. Can the settings
change themselves?
