Cannot get IE6 to install properly

I'm running windows 2000 and just tried to updrade to IE6.
I downloaded the full install package (77 meg) but after the install
it appears to still be IE5.
When I click on Help.....About Internet Explorer, I get an error
message.
" An error has occured in this dialog"
" ERROR: 84"
" Unspecified Error"
And does not show a version.
Any ideas?

Thanks, I got it to install but I still have a problem.
My online banking still don't work. It gives me a message saying to
upgrade my browser to 128 bit encryption.

Thanks, I'll check those links out.
I noticed another problem. No right click menu.
I can't download any files from the web.
A left click downloads to the page. Very annoying.
Any ideas?

These days most of us are recommending HijackThis to identify and assist in
the removal of these bad guys. **Post your files to any of the following

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
