cannot find program

Please help, when trying to connect to local net my
internet provider i keep getting a notice in my window
saying aim.exe unable to locate component. Application
failed to start because idlemon.dll was not found
reinstalling application may fix this problem. I cannot
find this program in my computer. can some one please
help thanks MIKE

Try the following fix.
1- Go to start, programm then starup.
If AIM is there delete the aim short cut for the start up.
If its not there go to step 2

2- Go to your control pannel, add remove program, locate AIM. Select it and
click remove. At this point it might ask you to remove completely or to
repair. Hit remove to uninstall it then restart.
If you can not find AIM in the add remove program nor in the start up try
step 3

3- Go start, then Run and in the run field type msconfig and hit enter,
select the last tab "Startup" and try to locate AIM. If you see it, remove
the check mark, click apply and you will be prompt to restart the computer.

If all 3 steps failed go http://www.aim.com
Download the software and install it, once it is installed you will no
longuer have hat error message and you'll have the option in add remove
program to uninstall it properly this time.
