Cannot Find PAB File - Now What??

O

Oscar

This is a follow-up to an earlier posting, regarding help moving the Outlook
Address Book and Mail Folders from one WXP computer to a different WXP
computer. These are not my computers, and I am an Outlook Express user, so I
am seriously lost. I found the .pst folder, so hopefully that will move the
mail folders. "Search" does not find a .pab file on the computer. The
addresses are stored in Outlook in a folder named "Contacts". How do I move
the "Contacts" folder to the new computer? Thanks again for your help and
patience.

The "Contacts" folder is contained within the pst file - move that and you
move the contacts.

I had this problem a while back,

open the outlook profile .. go to tools email accounts > view or change
exsisting directories or address books > delete the outlook address book
you see. Finish .. close out .. open it all again goto add a new address
book select the new outlook address book (same as the one you deleted)
finish close outlook .. and re-open it .. all your contacts will be
returned.
