Hi ! I need some serious help here.
One of my colleague taught me that I can open a command prompt from the
explorer by adding a cmd.exe to the menu option:
Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types -> File Folder ->
Advanced -> New
Then I add an:
- Action = "Shell"
- Application use to perform action = cmd.exe
It worked. BUT whenever, I click on the folder to navigate into it, it
pops up a shell ! I can't navigate into it anymore. I can only
navigate from the folder on the left hand side.
So I though I can add another action and make it default:
- Action = explore
- Application use to perform action = explorer.exe
This worked wrongly. A new Explorer window keep popping up each time I
click on the folder.
And the worst thing is that I cannot delete it !!
I have already made sure that I didn't check "Launch folder windows in
a separate process".
Help. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks !!
