Hello.
I desperately need help solve my problem.
I have been connecting to our office LAN (with W2K servers/domain
controllers and Exchange2K e-mail server) using a vpn connection (Cisco
ipsec vpn client to Cisco 3000 Concentrator) on a DSL connection at home. I
have configured the Cisco vpn client in my home PC I use for connecting to
our work LAN to establish the vpn tunnel prior I log on to the Domain. This
PC is a member of our Office Domain. I have had no problem whatsoever. I
use MS Outlook 2000 to connect to our Exchange2k server, I use Terminal
Services client to log in to our Web Servers, Domain controllers, SQL
servers, etc. I use VNC to control my workstation at work, when I need to.
Yesterday, I upgraded my motherboard to a newer one which can take higher
speed processor and memory (with FSB). After installing all the drivers for
all components of the new motherboard (sound, integrated LAN card, USB 2
driver, Chipset drivers, etc), I look at the device manager and everything
is fine - no yellow exclamation or question marks. All components are
working properly. I still have vpn access to our Cisco 3000 concentrator
and I'm authenticated by our Win2k domain controller. However, I cannot
open my mapped network drives, Outlook does not open my mailbox (no error
message - it just sits there with the "Not responding" in the Task Manager,
I have to End-Task it), TS cannot connect anymore, VNC client cannot connect
anymore, etc. I know TCP/IP and the tunnel is working properly because I
can telnet over to our IBM Aix system.
What seems to be my problem. Thanks in advance for your help.
