Cannot edit equations

Although I just wrote the equation, I cannot seem to edit it.
I get the message 'Wod cannot open the document: user does not have access
privileges'.
How do I gain access to something I just wrote??

Make sure the Norton Antivirus Office Plugin is disabled.
