Cannot Edit Chart Titles

I have played around with charts now in both forms and reports..... using
them in forms is definitley easier....

I have several unique field names... ie. sumscount
these names currently appear as items in the chart legend, or as titles if I
select titles to be shown.....

I cannot for the life of me edit these lables. I know the field they are
linked to may be named that... but how the heck do I simply get the chart to
display the label I enter...

eg. field called "sumscount" displayed on the chart as "Count"

any help?

Open the Row Source property of the chart control and modify the query to
give an alias to you columns:
Count: YourField

If you can't figure this out, come back to us with the SQL view of your Row
Source property.
