Cannot Download anything.

I get the following message from Internet Explorer 6.0
when downloading any files from the web:

"Internet Explorer cannot download ie6setup.exe from
download.microsoft.com.

Internet explorer was not able to open this Internet site.
The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be
found. Please try again later."

I have tryed downloading from several other site and get
the same response.

If anyone knows the solution please let me know.

AM & Tracy: I'm getting the same thing. Glad I'm not
alone. Ditto on the email. Running win2000 sp1, ie6
sp1. Thanks
