Cannot Display This Video Mode PPSX 07

Recently when I try to open any PowerPoint presentation slide show I can
only hear the music but get a black screen with error message "Can not
display this Video Mode".
Even made a short PPT slideshow with jpg's only and receive the same error
message.

Thought it could be a video card so I tested some other programs and they
all work. any help out there????

Version of PPT?

PPT 2003 or earlier. Look in Slide Show, Set up show, Slide show resolution
(at bottom of window that opens). Should be set to "Use Current Resolution)
if not set it that way.

PPT 2007, click on ribbon bar slide show, set up slide show, check the same
as the above suggestion. Also on all the Use hardware graphics acceleration
may cause errors so turn this check box off to see if that fixes the issue.

Let us know if the above fix works.

Sorry, didn't see the 07 in the header..... Open PPT 2007, open the PPSX
show and check the settings as per my previous post.
