"Cannot display page" error message

Linda

When browsing the web, I will get this error message on
some, not all, web pages. For instance I go to
http://www.in-forum.com/ (this is no problem). Then I
want to go to the classified section and the error
message: "The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.
The Web site might be experiencing technical
difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings."
I have gone to Microsoft knowledge base and have tried
all the fixes suggested. I have also tried the following
from Mike Burgess.
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=241344
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=274498

Linda,
You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK

Mike,
I did all suggestions. Can something with my Norton
AntiVirus or Internet Security settings be wrong. But
then I don't think so, since this problem just started
and I haven't made any changes on settings.
Do I need to get remote assistance?

Linda,
Several users have reported that completely removing NIS and reinstalling
has corrected this problem ..... I don't use Norton's products, so I can't
advise.
