Cannot disconnect network drive

B

BurnabyBarb

I have network drives mapped to which I no longer have access (from previous
work engagements).

When I try to use the menu path Windows Explorer > Tools > Disconnect
network drive, I get this error message:

"X: connected to []: could not be disconnected because an error has
occurred: This network connection does not exist."

I tried the command "use X: /delete", but that did not work as I received a
similar error that the drive could not be found.

I've searched for this error and found quite a few reports on various
forums, but I've not found one that had an answer. Your guidance is much
appreciated.

Hi
Try the GUI, in the Control Panel/Network Center pull down the Tools menu
and choose the Disconnect Network Drive.
