cannot delete history

having a problem deleting my history. it will delete
automatically on the set time i have it set to delete,
but i cannot delete history manually thru the internet
options in tools. is something locked? how do i remedy
this

Right-click on your Taskbar and select:
Properties > Start Menu > Customize > Clear
