I have managed to get some folders on D: Drive that cannot be deleted.
McAffee likes to be on C: Drive but the McAffee folder which remains
without any content on D: Drive cannot be deleted. Command line 'rd'
gets "access denied" and so does the 'attrib' command if it is used
with a -r or +r. If used with no parameters it will display the name
of the folder, indicating that it is a normal folder.The folder is
empty. There are 3 such folders with the McAfee name and they are all
empty.
When learning assembler programming, I took delight in writing a file
called kill.com. Use with the parameter of a file name, it would
delete without comment. If the file was system, read or hidden it
would display that and ask for permission to delete. I am sure it was
also meant to kill folders or directories as they were called then.
Even that is no good. Comments, PLEASE
