"cannot delete files..."

Someone at work put some files on my USB drive and now I
cannot delete them. Some of the folders and files' names
are showing up as gibberish in Windows Explorer. When I
try to delete the files I receiv: Cannot delete file:
cannot read from the source file or disk." What should I
do.

Yup, Imoved all usuable files to my C drive, then
reformattted the USB Drive. Now moving all files back.
