cannot creat new mail

Suddently I cannot creat new mail, just shows part of the input and then says
not responding. Windows tries to fix but des not. I did try to save a bunch
to Windows contacts , did that do something? Just got Vista yesterday on new
computer.

What if any antivirus programs or other security programs do you have?
Some of them cause assorted problems in Windows Mail, although
seldom that soon.

If you click on Outbox, are there any outgoing messages piling up there?
If so, what happens if you try to move them to the Drafts folder or delete
them?

If you get any error messages when you try to send messages, it would
help to show us the entire error messages.
