Cannot copy outlook

Using Outlook 2003:

I have it set to backup daily. The last couple days, I've gotten the
following error message.

Outlook Personal Folder Backup

Cannot copy Outlook: Access is denied

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not
currently in use.

It generally means something is accessing the pst and it is therefore
locked.
Perhaps OL did'nt close, check running processes. Or maybe you installed a
DTS?
